Good Morning Seahawks! Here are your Daily Announcements:

Today's the last day to buy a t-shirt from the GSA!  Place your order during lunch in the Galleria or in the Teen Health Center. $7 for students and  $10 for staff.

Join us at Saturday Math this Saturday, March 28.  Get help with Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 from 10 am – 12 pm in rooms 263 and 265.  See you Saturday!

Seniors!  Several more scholarship opportunities have been posted for SEALTH SENIORS!  Please stop by the TRiO office for more info and to pick up scholarship applications. 

Attention TRiO Students:  There will be a TRiO field trip to UW Tacoma and Highline College on Friday April 3rd. Please pick up permission slips in the TRiO office.  Permission slips are due on Wed April 1st.

Does anyone know where Mr. Perkins is this week?  If you don’t, I do, he is NYC with 29 Academy seniors.  Would you like to go to NYC your senior year.  If yes, drop by room 270 to ask about the Academy of Business.  There are still approximately 15 spots available for current sophomores interested in joining the Academy this fall.  Go get that application!

Looking for a Summer Job?  Join the Mayor’s Youth Employment Initiative at High Point Community Center, Tuesday, March 24th and Thursday, April 2nd. Juniors!  Remember that SAT scores are coming in.  If you still need a state test, then these tests can count!  Here are the scores you need:
Reading – 350    /          Writing – 380          /              Math – 390
Got these scores?  Print a copy of your score report and bring it to Mrs. Douglas, and you are finished!  

Hey Seahawks!
West Seattle high school is hosting another 3 on 3 basketball tournament called the 206 BANGOUT come join the fun on April 4 and make a team of 4! $20 dollars per team, registration packets are on the west Seattle blog! Search "206 Bangout" to find the link! they're due April 1! Take it to the hoops and bangout!

The Africa Culture Club (ACT) promotes the various cultures of the African continent. Students are encouraged to participate in the fun activities (Food, dance, festivals) while learning the African culture.  The ACT Club meets each Friday after school in the Galleria with Anthonia Okoye, auokoye@seattleschools.org, end 3/27).

What to learn more about what a Psychiatrist does with patients? Need to know more information on mental health? Come join the Active Minds group this Thursday during study hall in Dr. D’s room #241 -special guest Dr. Dan Wolf, a Psychiatrist will be vising and answering all your questions about mental illness and treatment.
