An internship is a short-term job that allows the worker, or intern, to gain introductory experience in a certain profession. It is a great way to gain hands-on experience to build toward your future career.

Foundry10: Art Residency Program (Paid)
Who: Age 16-20 years old at hire
What: foundry10 and The Vera Project are starting a paid Artist Residency opportunity for young visual artists, ages 16-20! This program is a unique chance for youth to dive deeper into their creative practice, build artistic community, and show their work at a culminating show at the Vera Project’s gallery space.
- Opportunity to exhibit art at The Vera Project during the month of May 2025
- Artist in residents paid $25 per hour (up to 20 hours per month)
- Materials stipend of $500 provided
- Opportunity to build out a body of work and learn from guest artists
- A supportive community of practice that encourages collaboration and creativity
Where: Vera Project, Seattle Center
Paid: $25 per hour plus $500 for art supplies

Aeronautical Science Pathway Program
Who: 11th & 12th graders
What: Aeronautical Science Pathway (ASP) is a program for high school juniors and seniors who want to become professional pilots or work in drone operations, air traffic control, airport management, airline dispatch, or any other aviation operations management fields. Offered at no cost to you!
- Includes six college-level courses each year
- Opportunity to earn 3 high school credits and 30 college credits each year
- Increase leadership and communication skills
- Develop job interview skills
- Mentoring by industry leaders
- Internship & scholarship opportunities
When: Monday through Thursday from 3:45 PM to 6:00 PM
Where: Museum of Flight
Orientation:
- October 22 – Virtual
- November 19 – In person
- December 10 – Virtual

Career Quest is a Seattle Public Schools (SPS) Internship program. Students can earn high school credit outside of their school day while exploring careers for their futures.
